Countries developing the tourism branch, including Croatia, need to attach more attention to and make more investments in products for congress tourism and other business trips.
This was said by experts in the congress industry, Briton Paul Flackett and Irishman Patrick Delaney, at Wednesday's international tourism forum on the congress industry held as part of the 66th SKAL World Congress. SKAL is a professional organisation of tourism leaders around the world, promoting global tourism and friendship. It is the only international group uniting all branches of the travel and tourism industry.
The participants in the SKAL cogress, which pooled about 1,000 tourism managers, directors and owners of tourist companies from 87 countries, will travel to Dubrovnik on Thursday where the congress will end on October 21.
