Marincel said the Rijeka County Prosecutor's Office sent the indictment to the Gospic County Court last Friday and that it should have arrived by now.
He added he could not speak of the elements of the indictment before the eight-day deadline within which the defence could appeal it and the Gospic County Court rule on the appeal.
The president of the Gospic court, Pave Rukavina, said today the indictment had not been received yet, while Mraovic's attorney Velimir Dosen said he had been informed about the indictment but that he had not received it yet.
The 57-year-old Mraovic was arrested on April 14 on suspicion that in his hotel the day before he raped Ilisha Jarett, a 28-year-old American who had played basketball for Gospic Industrogradnja.
Mraovic was released after being interviewed and the Gospic County Prosecutor's Office did not ask that he be placed in custody. Custody was requested only after the case was taken over by the Rijeka County Prosecutor's Office. On April 22 he was arrested again and placed in custody, and an investigation was launched.
