Recent talks between the Government and representatives of the International Monetary Fund were also on the agenda of today's session. A deputy Prime Minister and vice president of the social and economic council, Jadranka Kosor, said the encroachment upon social rights or the rights of budgetary users was not mentioned at those talks.
Union representatives did not support the amendments to the law on state civil servants because they believe that proposed changes were insufficient and non-ambitious.
The session also focused on the unequal position of women on the labour market who are paid less than men for the same job.
