ZAGREB, July 4 (Hina) - Croatian Justice Minister Vesna Skare
Ozbolt and British Ambassador to Zagreb, John Ramsden, on Monday presented a
project on the support to the modernisation of the work of the Croatian
Judicial Academy and to the education of judges. The one-million
kuna project, financed by the British Foreign Office, will be carried out until
June next year. Its purpose is to prepare judges and state prosecutor for
holding lectures at the academy.
"The strategy of the Justice Ministry is to educate judges-specialists
rather than establishing specialised or new courts," Minister Skare-Ozbolt
said.
The British diplomat said that the aim of the project was to educate
judges and state prosecutors in accordance with European standards.
