ZAGREB, June 20 (Hina) - Prime Minister Ivo Sanader on Monday
issued a message on the occasion of Anti-Fascist Struggle Day, which is
observed on June 22, saying that victory over fascism in World War Two was a
victory of values on which modern Europe and Croatia were founded, and that
Croatia's contribution to that victory was big and strong. Sanader
said in the message that by joining the antifascist coalition on 22 June 1941,
Croatia joined the winners and committed itself to antifascism, incorporating
it into the foundations of its democracy.
He also said that Croatia was strongly committed to antifascism and
rejected all forms of extremism and totalitarianism.
