Speaking at a news conference, Fuchs called on the hospital management, the city government, the mayor of Zagreb and the Ministry of Health to put an end to Busic's allegations which he called baseless.
Fuchs said that the purpose of Busic's allegations that the project caused 30 million kuna worth of damage was to terminate the contract with Danel.
He added that over the past three years the company had undergone all legal procedures required for the project.
Since Danel is partly an Israeli company, Fuchs finds it curious that the accusations are being made only five days before Croatian Prime Minister Ivo Sanader's visit to Israel.
Asked about the possibility of terminating the contract, Fuchs said that the contract was not a classic business agreement but an agreement on joint investment by the "Sv. Duh" hospital and Danel, adding that Busic should have talked to him first before going to the press, if he wanted to terminate the contract.
Busic told reporters on Thursday that the project of the polyclinic and the privatisation of the hospital's dialysis centre had proven harmful in many aspects and that he would see to it that the centre was reintegrated into the hospital.
