PULA, June 13 (Hina) - A three-day seminar on the topic "EU
Programmes and Drafting of Projects", pooling representatives of units of local
governments in Istria County and the city of Varazdin, began in the northern
Croatian coastal city of Pula within a project of the Central and Eastern
European Networking Association (CEENet). This kind of seminar is
welcome as it is very important at this moment to acquaint representatives of
local governments with the functioning of European funds and how they can
obtain funds for the implementation of their projects, an official of the
Croatian Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry said at the start of
the event.
The aim of the project called "To Build Bridges of Dialogue and
Cooperation in Southeastern Europe" is to connect 21 units of local governments
in the region.
The seminar was organised by the Ucodep society, Tuscany and Italian
Foreign Ministry, with the support of Istria County.
