According to a press release issued by the Foreign Ministry of Bosnia-Herzegovina on Friday, during her meeting with Bosnian Ambassador to the Netherlands, Fuad Sabeta, Carla del Ponte said that she would again consider the possibility of visiting the eastern Bosnian town of Srebrenica on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the massacre committed by Bosnian Serb forces after they overran the wartime Muslim enclave in July 1995.
Earlier this month, the chief prosecutor said she would not come to Srebrenica in protest over the fact that those most responsible for the Srebrenica massacre, Bosnian Serb wartime leaders Radovan Karadzic and Ratko Mladic, were still on the run.
