European Commission official Reinhard Priebe said in Sarajevo on Thursday.
Priebe is the director for the Western Balkans of the Commission's External Relations Directorate-General.
Speaking to the press after the sixth meeting of a task force considering the implementation of reforms, Priebe said the task force concluded that Sarajevo had made significant headway but that without reorganising the police and regulating the radio and television system it could not count on the launching of negotiations with Brussels.
Priebe said everyone should realise that the EU would not give up those principles and called on Bosnian politicians to meet those conditions as soon as possible.
