SARAJEVO, May 4 (Hina) - Ivo Miro Jovic, nominated by the Croatian
Democratic Union of Bosnia-Herzegovina (HDZ BiH), was on Wednesday elected the
new Croat member of Bosnia's three-man presidency at a session of the Bosnian
parliament in Sarajevo. Jovic succeeds Dragan Covic who was recently
dismissed from that post by a decision of the international community's High
Representative, Paddy Ashdown, after he was indicted for corruption.
Today's decision of the parliament's House of Representatives should
now be confirmed by the upper house, the House of Nations.
