In addition, GONG will have 105 mobile teams, each consisting of two observers who will visit polling stations where there will be no other GONG observers or places where possible irregularities may be reported, the GONG co-ordinator for media campaigns, Sandra Pernar, told Hina today.
Each mobile team will visit about 12 polling stations during the day, she added.
On election day GONG will issue three press releases on the course of elections and possible irregularities.
"As always, our observers will focus on whether election rules are observed at polling stations, as well as whether there are breaches of the electioneering ban, which will be penalised," Pernar said.
