The summit will be attended by the presidents and prime ministers of nine countries -- Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Turkey, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro, Macedonia and Albania.
The event will officially mark the end of of Romania's chairmanship over the SEECP rotating presidency. Romania will be succeeded by Greece.
This year Croatia will for the first time take part in the summit as a full member after it signed of a charter on good neighbourly relations, stability, security and cooperation in late 2004.
