press release on Thursday.
ZAGREB, April 21 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Ministry State
Secretary Gordan Bakota, who was on a working visit to the United States, held
talks with senior US officials on Tuesday and Wednesday, the Croatian Foreign
Ministry said in a press release on Thursday. Bakota met with
Bertram Braun, the director for Southeast Europe in the US National Security
Council. Their talks focused on bilateral relations and the current political
situation in Croatia.
The Croatian officials also held talks with Kathleen Stephens, Deputy
Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs, and with Maura Harty,
Assistant Secretary of Consular Affairs.
Bakota visited the Washington Holocaust Memorial Centre and talked with
its director Arthur S. Berger.
