countries-signatories to the US-Adriatic Charter -Albania, Croatia and Macedonia, German Foreign Minister JoschkaFischer, and delegations from Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia andMontenegro, in Durres on Tuesday.
ZAGREB, April 5 (Hina) - Croatia's Foreign and European
Integration Minister Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic held a series of bilateral
meetings with her colleagues on the margins of a meeting which pooled foreign
ministers from countries-signatories to the US-Adriatic Charter - Albania,
Croatia and Macedonia, German Foreign Minister Joschka Fischer, and delegations
from Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia and Montenegro, in Durres on Tuesday. All officials attending the meetings reiterated the commitment of the
signatories to the Charter to continuing to strengthen cooperation in
implementing the Membership Action Plan and stressed mutual support on the road
to the EU and NATO.
The signatories to the US-Adriatic Charter said they expected to
receive an invitation to membership talks at the next NATO summit and sought
support for the start of the talks from German Foreign Minister Fischer, the
Croatian Foreign Ministry said in a statement among other things.
