The commission is against the transformation of the Croatian Waters public institution into a company and calls on members of parliament to vote against the amendments.

(Hina) - The Iustitia et Pax commission of the
Croatian Catholic Bishops' Conference on Wednesday presented its
statement about the unacceptability of proposed amendments to the
water resources and water management law as it feared that those
modifications would pave the way to the privatisation of water
resources and to higher prices in that sector.
