The parliament amended the real estate transfer tax act which will facilitate the work of the tax administration in determining taxes in real estate transfers. The amended law provides for the establishment of a data base of real estate prices and trends in that field.
MPs amended Protocol 4 to the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA), which grants Croatia customs privileges for exports to EU member states and other countries signatories to the agreement.
The parliament ratified an agreement between the Croatian government and the Commission of the European Communities on privileges and immunity of representatives of the Commission of the European Communities in Croatia.
Also amended were an agreement between Croatia and the European Commission on the implementation of an operational programme for human resources development and a Croatia-EC agreement on financing a regional competitiveness programme.
The new draft act on conflict of interest rules was sent into second reading.
The parliament's meeting will resume next week.
