The sales and marketing director of the Irish low-cost airline, Laura McCormack, told a news conference in Rijeka on Thursday that flights from Stansted airport in London and from Skavsta airport in Stockholm would operate on Mondays and Fridays.
It is expected that 14,000 passengers a year would arrive in Croatia aboard the new flights.
The tickets will be available online as of 4 February.
Apart from Ryanair, Croatia Airlines will reintroduce its service between Krk and London. Krk will be connected with Stockholm and Gothenburg by Skand Jet, with Riga by Smartlynx Airlines, with Moscow by UralAirlines and with Bucharest by S.C. Compania Nationala de Transporturi Aeriene.
The new flights are expected to bring some 30,000 guests to the northern Croatian Adriatic coast this year.
