The spokesman for the Croatian Ministry of Agriculture and Water Management, Mladen Pavic, said on Thursday evening that the commission would meet, but he could not say when exactly and where the meeting would be held.
Workers of the Croatian 'Vodogradnja' company worked until 2pm today on the construction site, situated on a portion of the left bank which is entered into Croatian land books.
Preparatory works on the dyke on the left bank of the Mura are continuing as scheduled, the spokeswoman for the Croatian "Hrvatske Vode" company, Jelena Ambrenac, said on Thursday evening.
On Monday, Slovene police raided the site, asking the Croatian workers to leave the place. Later the police left.
Slovene intervention police who were deployed in the nearby town of Hotiza withdrew from the disputed border area on Thursday afternoon, according to Slovene news agency STA.
