LJUBLJANA, Aug 31 (Hina) - Slovene Prime Minister Janez Jansa has said that his country cannot be completely satisfied with current relations with Croatia, but that there is no reason for nervous reactions when it comes to outstanding border issues.

"We cannot be satisfied with relations with Croatia, but membership in the European Union and NATO has strengthened Slovenia's position, so there is no reason for nervous reactions or unilateral moves on our part," Jansa said in an interview with the latest issue of Demokracija weekly dedicated to Jansa's relations with Slovene President Janez Drnovsek and the situation in the coalition government.

Commenting briefly on relations with Croatia, Jansa said that Croatia had outstanding issues not only regarding the border with Slovenia, but also the border with Montenegro, Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

"Neither the EU nor NATO are happy with such a situation in a country which is applying for membership of those associations," Jansa said, adding that activities related to the settlement of outstanding issues with Croatia were under way.
