PODGORICA, April 29 (Hina) - Serbia and Montenegro President
Svetozar Marovic has said that three weeks before the referendum on
Montenegro's independence, the advocates of independence have a 13-15 per cent
advantage over those advocating that Montenegro should remain in the state
union. "The sovereignist bloc has a 13-15 per cent advantage...
Montenegro will win at the referendum on the state status," Marovic told the
Podgorica-based television station IN on Friday evening. "That will be a clear
message to all, even our friends in Serbia."
Marovic said there was no fear that Serbia and Montenegro would not
have friendly relations following the referendum.
The referendum on Montenegro's status has been called for May 21. The
sovereignists need 55 per cent of the vote to win.
