The Croatian government said in a statement that the two officials discussed bilateral economic relations and multilateral talks on the expansion of CEFTA that started in Bucharest today.
The Romanian government fully supports Prime Minister Ivo Sanader's proposal to implement the proposal for a single free trade zone in Southeast Europe by expanding CEFTA to include countries not covered by the agreement on free trade, Pogea said.
The two officials also discussed the possible participation of the Croatian company "Koncar" in the reconstruction of railway engines and hydro-power plants in Romania and the possible construction of an oil pipeline running from Constanza to Trieste.
