SUBOTICA, March 24 (Hina) - The Croatian government has set aside
one million kuna for the co-financing of projects of Croat associations in
Serbia, according to an invitation to submit projects issued on Friday. The invitation was made by the Croat National Council (HNV) in Serbia and
Montenegro.
"The interest is high and we expect the majority of the 30 Croat
associations and organisations to apply," said HNV president Josip
Pekanovic.
He recalled that the last time Croatia had sent such considerable funds
was four years ago.
