HPK is comprised of business people operating in Serbia and Montenegro.
The president of the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, Slobodan Milosavljevic, said it was "necessary to open borders and remove obstacles to investing". He advocated regional cooperation and regional agreements on free trade, and said that cooperation with Croatia was improving.
The Chamber's representatives said Croatia-Serbia trade in 2005 revolved around USD500 million, and that Croatia was Serbia's sixth largest trade partner in exports and eleventh in imports.
Also attending the meeting at the Hyatt Regency was Croatian Ambassador Tonci Stanicic.
