Jessen Petersen said his talks with Serbian President Boris Tadic were useful and that he hoped they would be able to work together to improve the status of Kosovo Serbs.
Speaking about the newly elected Kosovo prime minister, Agim Qeku, about whose election Serbian President Boris Tadic has expressed concern, Jessen Petersen said that Qeku's election was lawful and that there was no need for concern and blockade of negotiations on Kosovo's status.
Petersen visited Belgrade to hold talks with Serbian officials before the continuation of negotiations on Kosovo's status in Vienna on March 17.
