BELGRADE, March 13 (Hina) - Serbian representatives at
negotiations on the future status of Kosovo are concerned about the election of
Agim Ceku as Kosovo's prime minister due to suspicion that he took part in war
crimes against civilians, the Serbian negotiating team stated after a meeting
on Monday. The Hague tribunal's approval for former Kosovo prime
minister Ramush Haradinaj to engage in political activity is unacceptable and
unprecedented, the team said, adding that such decisions could undermine the
talks on Kosovo's status that started recently in Vienna.
The negotiating team today discussed preparations for the second round
of talks on decentralisation, to be held in Vienna on March 17. The meeting was
attended by co-chairmen of the negotiating team, Serbian President Boris
Tadic, Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica and Serbia and Montenegro's Foreign
Minister Vuk Draskovic.
