Ahtisaari said there was no political crisis in Kosovo, adding that delegations of Pristina and Belgrade meet in Vienna on 17 March for the second round of negotiations.
On Wednesday evening, the UN official held talks with Kosovo president Fatmir Sejdium and other members of Kosovo's team of negotiators. Sejdiu presented Ahtisaari with answers to seven questions which the UN chief negotiator earlier sent to Belgrade and Pristina, referring to their position on human and minority rights.
On the last day of his visit to Kosovo, Friday, Ahtisaari will hold a news conference in Pristina.
