The English-language book, titled "Defence Speaks for the Past and the Future" (in an unofficial translation), combines Milosevic's opening arguments from 31 August and 1 September 2004, when the defence began introducing evidence, with legal interpretations by former US justice secretary Ramsey Clark, said B92.
The 180-page book presents Milosevic's view of the break-up of Socialist Yugoslavia, with the author blaming the US government and its European allies. He says they incited religious and ethnic differences among former Yugoslavia's peoples in order to reduce the federation to several small colonies.
The lies of NATO leaders served to justify the aggression against Yugoslavia, publisher Independent Publishers Group says in a review.
The book also brings an opinion by the 2005 Nobel prize winner for literature Harold Pinter. B92 quotes him as saying that the American NATO court, which is prosecuting Milosevic, has always been illegitimate and will never be acknowledged as a just court. Milosevic's defence is powerful, convincing and cannot be ignored, the radio further quoted Pinter as saying.
