This campaign against judges hampers them from working normally, the association's head Djuro Sessa told Hina on Friday.
Transparency International on Thursday released figures about corruption in various sections of the Croatian society, with the judiciary seemingly affected the most. TI stressed that this did not mean that the judiciary was the most corrupt sector. However, Sessa said that such figures created a false picture and an atmosphere of a campaign against judges who are subjected to blanket and generalised accusations.
The association stresses that it does not want to diminish the problem but adds that all judges are not the same and that it is not true that all of them are corrupt.
That is why it calls on citizens to individualise the cases and report any inappropriate conduct of any judge.
