The meeting, held in Bratislava, focused on priorities and activities of the current Slovakian presidency of the Visegrad Group. Also discussed were the ongoing political, economic and institutional reforms in the southeast of the continent.
According to the press release, the Visegrad Four expressed support for the completion of Croatia's accession negotiations with the EU in 2011 and the signing and ratification of Croatia's accession treaty.
Support was also given to the Euro-Atlantic aspirations of other southeastern European countries.
As regards NATO's further enlargement, participants in the Bratisalva meeting reaffirmed commitment to the open door policy of the alliance towards the southeast of Europe with the aim of achieving full security and stability in the region.
Jandrokovic thanked his Slovakian counterpart Mikulas Dzurinda for the Visegrad Group's support to Croatia's EU membership bid. He also thanked the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia for cooperation and exchange of experience with Croatia on its path towards the European bloc.
