Maystadt informed Josipovic about the cooperation between that financial institution and Croatia, including the funding of big infrastructure projects, notably those aimed at modernising the railway network and the construction of roads and gas supply networks.
Also, an important aspect of the financial assistance which the EIB offers to Croatia is stepping up Croatia's accession into the European Union.
The two officials agreed that Croatia should be well prepared for using EU structural funds.
