Presenting a draft bill on state property management, Duvnjak said the new legislation envisaged the establishment of a state property management agency which would replace the current HFP fund and the central bureau for state property management.
The agency is to be run by a three-member management and by a nine-member steering council. The management is to be appointed by the government, and the council by the parliament.
The parliamentary committee also considered the government's proposal for the closure of the Trade and Investment Promotion Agency. The economy ministry is to take over this agency's work and staff.
