Roncevic was at the helm of a delegation of the Croatian Defence Ministry on an official visit to Bosnia. After the talks, the two ministers signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation in the defence sector as well as a plan for the implementation of cooperation for 2006.
Roncevic and Radovanovic told reporters that the two countries' defence cooperation had been good so far, adding that aspirations and plans to join NATO were an encouragement for the promotion of cooperation and exchange of experience.
Roncevic stressed that defence reforms in Croatia were primarily aimed at people, namely staff of the Armed Forces.
The Croatian minister said that professional armed forces were an integral part of efforts aimed at rationalising defence expenses, adding that the objective was to reduce defence expenses to two percent of GDP by 2010, as is the case in NATO member countries.
Roncevic said he offered to Bosnian colleagues to use Croatia's experience, namely to train officers of the Bosnian Armed Forces, within the integrated civil and military training system, such as the one existing in Croatia.
Radovanovic agreed there was a number of possibilities for future cooperation, adding that the cooperation would continue through bilateral and multilateral meetings.
Roncevic and Radovanovic also discussed a possible cooperation of Croatia and Bosnia's military industries.
