The agreement allows the signatories to open their air spaces to one another to observe and take photographs using a specially equipped aircraft approved by the signatories.
This was the first of the four quotas Croatia had undertaken to meet in 2006. The flight mission involved a 20-member French observer team headed by a guest observer from the Russian Federation and a supporting 11-strong Croatian team.
The agreement has been signed by 34 countries. Croatia joined on 1 January 2005.
