Nena Komarica, the head of the New York Office of the Croatian National Tourist Board, which organised the Croatian stall, told Hina that judging by the number of people who visited the stall many Americans could decide to spend their holidays in Croatia this summer.
The show featured 500 exhibitors and was covered by numerous travel journalists and local television stations.
Croatia received additional publicity through announcements in The New York Times of performances of the Croatian folk ensamble Lindjo from Dubrovnik, who played on the main stage in the Javitz Center where the Travel Trade Show took place.
