ZAGREB, Feb 13 (Hina) - The European Union will donate 650,000 euros tohelp Croatia adjust its telecommunications sector to EU regulations.The donation is part of a CARDS 2004 project aimed at strengtheningthe capacity of the Croatian
Telecommunications Agency, the EuropeanCommission Delegation to Croatia said on Monday.
ZAGREB, Feb 13 (Hina) - The European Union will donate 650,000
euros to help Croatia adjust its telecommunications sector to EU regulations.
The donation is part of a CARDS 2004 project aimed at strengthening the
capacity of the Croatian Telecommunications Agency, the European Commission
Delegation to Croatia said on Monday. The donation will be used by
the Croatian Telecommunications Agency, the Agency for the Protection of Market
Competition and the Ministry of the Sea, Tourism, Transport and
Development.
The project was launched last November and will last until May 2007. It
will be presented at a panel discussion on the liberalisation of the
telecommunications market, to be organised by the Ministry of the Sea, Tourism,
Transport and Development on Wednesday.
