The delegation also included Banja Luka Bishop Franjo Komarica, Mostar Bishop Ratko Peric and Sarajevo Auxiliary Bishop Pero Sudar, who are on an ad limina apostolorum pilgrimage, i.e. visit to all institutions in the Vatican.
This was their first visit to the new pope who held separate meetings with each of them today.
Next week, the pontiff will hold a joint meeting with them and acquaint them with his views on the situation in Bosnia-Herzegovina and the region.
The Bosnian bishops informed the pope of their position regarding the ongoing negotiations on changes of the Bosnian constitutional order.
