Politika daily said in today's issue Djogo was arrested on Thursday in a search for Mladic and that the arrest was aimed at breaking the net of people suspected of helping the Bosnian Serb wartime military leader hide.
Colonel Djogo's name was mentioned publicly for the first time last year by Goran Petrovic, a former chief of the Serbian Interior Ministry's state security division. He claimed that the armies of Serbia and Montenegro and the Bosnian Serb entity had been guarding Mladic for a long time, and that Col. Dragomir Krstovic had been commander of logistics and Djogo coordinator with the Bosnian Serb army.
