ZAGREB, Feb 11 (Hina) - The trade union of workers at the Coca-ColaBeverages Croatia company on Saturday ended a strike which started tendays ago over low severance pay, with the strikers accepting themanagement's offer.
ZAGREB, Feb 11 (Hina) - The trade union of workers at the
Coca-Cola Beverages Croatia company on Saturday ended a strike which started
ten days ago over low severance pay, with the strikers accepting the
management's offer. The union said in a brief statement that the
strike had been discontinued and thanked the press for the extensive coverage
of the dispute.
Coca-Cola Beverages said in a statement the union had accepted its
offer to give workers to be laid off severance pay amounting to 6,400 kuna per
year of service, plus an additional gross amount of 40,000 kuna.
The Zagreb County Court on Friday ruled that the strike was
unlawful.
