Boskovic is one of four thugs who assaulted deputy ambassador Branimir Loncar and the Croatian Embassy's first secretary Boris Herceg in the Senjak residential area on Wednesday night. The two diplomats had been sitting in a car in front of a building where one tenant was being guarded by Boskovic and Goran Piljagic, both 24, who were joined by two friends, Slobodan Dragutinovic and Zoran Guberinic.
After one of the four approached the car, Loncar telephoned the police as three persons stepped out a car with Italian licence plates parked nearby. One of them tried to open the door of the Croatian diplomats' car and then smashed with his foot the driver's seat window, punching Herceg in the face a number of times.
Blic daily said in today's issue that two of the four attackers guarded Mihajlo Vojinovic, 30, owner of a printing plant and publisher of several books on fugitive war crimes suspects Ratko Mladic and Radovan Karadzic.
