The ECMM members killed in the incident were Colonel Enzo Venturini, Lieutenants Marco Matta, Silvano Natale and Fiorenzo Ramacci, all from Italy, and Lieutenant Jean-Loup Eychenne of France.
Delegations of the Croatian Foreign Affairs and European Integration Ministry, the ECMM, and the Italian and French embassies in Croatia, as well as the victims' families and local officials laid wreaths and lit candles at the crash site.
A requiem service was held at the local church in Podrute.
The ECMM helicopter was gunned down while patrolling north-western Croatia with another ECMM helicopter on January 7, 1992.
