Addressing reporters after meeting Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic in Belgrade on Tuesday, Busek particularly commended Serbia's cooperation with other Danube basin countries.
He added that the transfer of powers from the Stability Pact to a new organisation - the Council for Regional Cooperation - would start in September this year. The Council will have its headquarters in Sarajevo and it will officially start working on January 1, 2008.
Minister Jeremic said among other things that regional cooperation was one of the main priorities of the Serbian government.
