He said the letter was immediately handed to the Osijek police. The letter contained only one sentence: "Unless you release Branimir Glavas from custody, you and your judges will be blown up".
Rozac said Ljubojevic had not requested additional protection for the court building or the judges.
The leader of the HDSSB party, Osijek-Baranja County Prefect Kresimir Bubalo, told the press today the party most vehemently condemned the anonymous threat and requested that county police chief Vladimir Faber investigate it urgently.
Bubalo said it was in Glavas's interest that the sender be found as soon as possible.
He assessed the threat was malevolent and "especially dangerous and targeted at exerting pressure on the court, because we know that yesterday the Supreme Court ordered the Osijek County Court to decide again on extending custody for six suspects and setting custody for Branimir Glavas".
Bubalo said the County Court would discuss the matter on Monday and then make a decision.
Glavas, an independent member of parliament, has been in custody at the Osijek prison since April 17 on a decision the County Court made at the a request of the County Prosecutor's Office, which on April 16 indicted Glavas and six other suspects in the so-called Sellotape war crimes case.
