ZAGREB, April 19 (Hina) - Croatia's Economy Minister Branko Vukelic on Thursday met Albanian Economy and Energy Minister Genc Ruli who led his country's economic delegation for a two-day visit to Croatia.

After the meeting in Zagreb, the two ministers said that their talks had revolved around bilateral cooperation in small and medium-sized entrepreneurship and in energy as well as around Croatian companies' participation in the process of privatisation of Albanian companies.

According to Vukelic, Croatia and Albania have agreed to initiate procedure about concluding a memorandum of cooperation in the small and medium-sized entrepreneurship. The Albanian side was asked to support an initiative for setting up a regional centre for training of small and medium-sized entrepreneurs in Croatia.

Vukelic said that Croatia enjoyed strong support form the European Commission regarding this project.

Ruli said that his country was interested in promoting bilateral cooperation in the energy sector. In this context he called on Croatia's INA to take part in the privatisation of the Albanian national oil company.

He added that Albania was planning to build several hydro-electric plants and called on Croatian companies to be engaged in it.
