The Dnevni Avaz daily quoted the council's chairman, Nikola Spiric , as saying that he would initiate as soon as possible the harmonisation of the positions on the matter.
During his recent visit to Sarajevo, Croatia's Prime Minister Ivo Sanader announced Zagreb's willingness to conclude an agreement on preferential treatment of Bosnia-Herzegovina for using the Croatian seaport of Ploce.
Spiric declined to reveal his personal opinion on Sanader's proposal.
Spiric's deputy Tarik Sadovic, who is also Bosnian Security Minister, said that Sanader's proposal contained nothing new in comparison to what Croatia had already offered in this regard.
Sadovic pointed out that the only new element was Sanader's request that Bosnia give Croatia a preferential status for using Bosnia's sections of the pan-European Vc transport corridor.
"I cannot see that anything special has been offered to Bosnia-Herzegovina. On the other hand, Sanader has asked in return a preferential status for Croatia's companies for (a Bosnian) highway along the Vc corridor," Sadovic said.
He criticised Sanader's proposal for what he said was a lack of more details about any possible economic advantages for Bosnia in Ploce Port.
Bosnian Transport and Communications Minister Bozo Ljubic said he had not yet seen Sanader's memorandum on the matter,
