PODGORICA, Feb 25 (Hina) - Montenegro's Deputy Prime Minister for
European Integration Gordana Djurovic said on Sunday that Croatian and
Montenegrin Premiers Ivo Sanader and Zeljko Sturanovic had agreed that Croatia
would give Montenegro a translation of 30,000 pages of European
regulations. "The two prime ministers' agreement is a positive
message from their January 12 meeting which now has to be operationalised,"
Djurovic told Vijesti daily, adding the translation would save Montenegro a lot
of time.
She said Montenegro would soon contact the Croatian Office for
Translation, and that the European acquis communautaire includes about 100,000
pages.
Djurovic reiterated that European integration was the Montenegrin
government's strategic priority.
