At the same time the trade deficit grew USD 1.3 billion over 2005, and the export-import ratio improved by one percentage point to a still low 48.3 per cent.
According to provisional figures released by the Central Bureau of Statistics on Friday, last year Croatia exported USD 10.37 billion in commodities, which was 18.3 per cent more than in 2005, while imports increased 15.8 per cent to USD 21.5 billion.
The trade deficit was USD 11.1 billion, up 13.5 per cent from the year before.
