"We expect the completion of the procedure very soon," he said.
The spokesman for the Croatian foreign ministry, Mario Dragun, told Hina in Zagreb that "this is the usual procedure of agreeing on the exchange of diplomatic notes on the completion of procedures necessary for enacting the arbitration agreement."
The arbitration deal went into force in Slovenia on 31 July after its ratification by the national parliament.
Croatia completed the procedure in late 2009.
The exchange of the diplomatic notes will render the agreement internationally valid and binding on both countries.
