The paper quotes the Sziget festival executive director, Karoly Gerendai, as saying that a seaside venue and local partners for the Croatian edition of the festival have already been selected.
The Croatian edition will be held in the second half of July in order not to overlap with the festivals in Hungary.
Gerendai said that he expected the festival in Croatia to attract not only Hungarian tourists but also other holiday-makers in Croatia.
The Sziget Festival, which was held on 11-16 August in Budapest, drew 382,000 visitors.
A Romanian edition is held in late August.
