Addressing the news conference, President Josipovic said that he was receiving a large number of letters and e-mails with people complaining about being deprived of rights from labour relations or about procrastinated court proceedings in this field.
That is why he proposed establishing courts that would deal only with labour-related issues.
"I suggest that this should be a part of the ongoing big reform of the judiciary, and it will also be a big step in the protection of citizens' rights," Josipovic said.
He declined to comment on a forthcoming budget revision before getting an insight into the document which is being prepared by the government.
In this context, he said that he would not like to see salaries in the public sector reduced, if possible.
"A majority of people employed in the state administration are poorly paid," he said, stressing that what matters is a reform of the state administration aimed at its rationalisation.
He recalled that the government and the parliament were responsible for the budget and that the budget would be such as drawn up by them.
He declined to comment on the possibility of introducing taxes on banks before seeing documents on the matter.
Josipovic informed reporters that he had decided to take away Branimir Glavas's military decorations and rank after he was convicted of war crimes.
This is a very grave crime. There is no choice but to strip him of his military decorations, Josipovic said.
