As for media announcements that the parliament may convene for early sitting to discuss a budget revision, Bebic told the commercial RTL television on Thursday evening that the parliament had not yet received any information from the government, which has the right to propose the Sabor's extraordinary sessions.
In response to a question whether he was surprised by the arrest of the Fimi-media marketing agency's owner Nevenka Jurak, Bebic said he could not comment on the case as he was not acquainted with that.
He also dismissed media speculations that Jurak's agency had financed the ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ), adding that he had no knowledge of it.
"The HDZ has operated in line with law. I do not know whether anything was outside the law and I cannot comment on it," Bebic said.
